Yes, it will still work even if a bit of it breaks off. If you want complete peace of mind, just take the broken bit along with the rest of the pill. You got plenty enough of the hormone for it to still be effective. It's also a cumulative effect, not the result of any one day total hormone. Do keep in mind, sex without a condom is still not a good idea. OMG !!! you better get to a hospital right away... haven't you heard about the girls who come up with all these horrible things when little pieces broke off their pills???... you'll prolly have frog-babies !!!!

It should have still worked. as long as you keep taking the others. i completely missed one one day and then kept taking them as usual as soon as i remembered and all was fine. If you have been on the pill for a while it will usually take around a few days to a week for it to stop working
