It's going to happen sooner or later with global warming, as global over-population is one of the major contributing factors to climate change.





What would be the criteria involved in having children? Should there be genetic screening first? How would population control be enforced? Through the tax system?When the government introduces population control, how will it work?

perhaps the easiest means of population control is piggybacking female pregnancy hormones in the serums injected for other purposes, like rubella,tetanus, diptheria,hepatitus,polio,rabies,flu,blo鈥?thinners,coagulents,dental anesthetics,when administered to females of childbearing age, the hormone induces irreversible sterility..is this any less barbaric than nazi euthanasia of undesireables in the 30's+ 40's
Perhaps we could do it by education. People who are educated typically have fewer children. What's that song where they sing ';only stupid people are breeding...';
Anyone who has more than one child could be taxed an amount equal to the education and other services they will use till adulthood.





I don't believe in genetic screening, it smacks of Adolph Hitler.
I'd like to see it work like this;





Contraceptives get put in the water supply, but of a sort than can be unblocked by another compound rendering them inert.


to get the blocking compound, whoever wanted it would have to submit a written application, with an at least 25 word explanation as to why they wanted to have children. Then the applicant would have to pass a short multiple choice test, no harder than a GED exam, no easier than the written test for a driver's license.





While not a perfect plan, it might cut down on the number of idiots having little idiots running around.
Just like it did in China.

Ironically, right now it is felt we need more, not less, and last year was a mini-baby boom. Yep, more babies born last year than since the 60's or so.

The current population control is - import Mexicans, export jobs, pollute the air and water, make health care unfordable and to have all the people living out in the streets.
