Teach them a lesson that people are not meant to be controlled.Is it OK to beat up a control freak in order to bring them back to reality?
If someone is a control freak, they want to be in control. If you resort to violence, you have LOST control - of yourself, and of the situation.





The mature thing to do is walk away. Permanently, if necessary. If you are talking about a significant other, then perhaps you could suggest counselling - a constant craving to be in control is often a symptom of low self esteem or other issues.
