Do women have the right to take birth control pills if their husband forbids it?

The answer is simple and the answer is NO. I am hoping most people will agree with me on this. I'll explain why. When two people marry, they become one. That ';one'; has one leader and he is the husband. The wife's duty is to accept his leadership with all due respect.Do women have the right to take birth control pills if their husband forbids it?
Yes of course they can it's their body their right and who is the husband to forbid it?

In a marriage I think both couples should discuss birth control and agree on it but if that doesn't happen then the woman can do what she likes with her body.

What is wrong with you??? What age are you living in?? Unfortunately for you I doubt any body with half a brain in this day and age will agree with a single thing you are saying. There is no such thing as a leader in a marriage, such archaic belief is what has over centuries led to men abusing women. I hope for all our sakes that you are just wasting time and don't really believe in what you are asking
Hells no just because you man dont mean you can boss her around. Honestly, she will probably end up leaving you in the long run, and if she doesnt leave you, she will probably stop loving you. You need to change something here, not her. Think about respecting her, she is a person just like you are and she has feelings like everyone else. And she is your wife, not your *****...so grow some balls, step up and be a man...not a little pu**y.
uh, sorry.

They share leadership.

If the Woman chooses to take Birth Control, then she has her free agency.

The Husband has no reason to forbid it.

Its not like its a Dad Forbidding his daughter.

The woman is an adult, and can choose for herself. The husband does not have the power to say that she cannot take them.

That is a subject that should have been discussed before marriage.

That way, the woman wouldn't marry the bonehead in the first place and not have to deal with a divorce.

Woman's body, woman's choice.
Ultimately a man will not: A. Carry the fetus to term, B. Be placed in a situation he is not ready for, C. Has no right to forbid his wife to do anything with her body, D. A woman is not chattel property; she is a human being and should make her own decisions
I hope noone takes this question seriously. It's just a setup to start a fight. Don't buy into it people.

However TruthSeeker 2020 should get off his or her lazy butt and get in the kitchen and make me some dinner.
Yes, they join, but No One is the master. They are equals with their own rights. If the woman is not ready to have a child then that has to be respected.
You're talking about slavery, not marriage.

The answer: an emphatic YES.

Wake up from your stupid patriarchal myths. THINK. (I hope you're still capable of it.)

Ok Doc Brown where did you come from 1955 . you should have discussed the issue of children before you got married. a woman has the right to do as she pleases. just my opinion.
ugh, I seriously...

just ugh.

I am not even going to begin to explain how idiotically sexist that statement is.

Jeeze lady. This ain't a Muslim country.
uhh yes. its their body therefore their choice.

if their husband is forbidding it then hes too contolling and itll probably lead to a divorce

be thankful men dont have to give birth!!
You disgust me.

Someone, preferable your wife (if you even have one), should beat you until you conform.
A simple answer reflects a simple mind. Tap yourself on the head a few times with your club.
Attention wh0re.
Yes, she needs to be obedient to you, you got it rite~~! But why marry someone who may not want children~~?
your a frigging idiot, get a life. you pathetic loser
It's their body and you need to chill out
YES. He's not her boss
yes it is her body she has the final say
