Yes, it will still work even if a bit of it breaks off. If you want complete peace of mind, just take the broken bit along with the rest of the pill. You got plenty enough of the hormone for it to still be effective. It's also a cumulative effect, not the result of any one day total hormone. It should have still worked. as long as you keep taking the others. i completely missed one one day and then kept taking them as usual as soon as i remembered and all was fine. If you have been on the pill for a while it will usually take around a few days to a week for it to stop working

Water in gas stove control panel, can I still use it?

I spilled water in the control panel of my gas stove (it works by turning on the gas, then it clicks until it lights). It started clicking by itself and then fire popped up under the knobs, which then was replaced by smoke. Once the smoke died down, I tried turning on one of the burners but it just caused more fire and smoking under the knobs.

If its that light, you may need to take a test. My best friend just found out that she was pregnant and she was on the pill. She never missed a day and she always started on the first day of 'sugar' pills. She found out that day that she was pregnant and it was due to a prescription that she had taken the month before, it more or less counteracted the birth control. Wait and see if your period gets to its normal strength. If it only last a day or two and is REALLY light, then take a test! Remember though, your period(pill or not) can differ due to a change in eating habits, exercise, stress levels, etc.

It's one of the hardest things in the world to do. I live with anxiety and it sucks. The only thing that can calm me down is very deep breathing, a quiet room and meditating with candles. It helps me to stay in a good state of mind during meditation if every time my thoughts wander, I just gently bring them back with a list of what I'm currently grateful for....sort of gets your mind off whatever you are worrying about. Remember, all decisions or thoughts you have can only be based on two things: faith or fear. I am working on operating more from faith than fear.





Do things to nuture yourself too. Fill a container with warm water with essential oils (lavender or patchouli is good for anxiety) in it and soak your feet....anything to just love yourself and calm yourself down. Your baby will thank you. When you feel anxious, so does Jr.!

It's not dangerous but try not to take both at the same time because it can make you nauseous and sick. Take one when you remember and wait a couple of hours and take the one for that day and you will be ok

If you would read your informational pamphlet that came with your pills, you'd know it's okay to ';double-up'; and that it's what you are supposed to do.
According to the birth controls that I have been on (Alesse, one no name brand, and Tri-Cyclen lo) all of them said that if you forget to take a pill, you are suppose to take it as soon as you remember. This means that you may end up taking two the same day or even at the same time. This is not wrong or dangerous, and if you are having sex and using it as a birth control then it would be 'worse' if you were to not take it.

The packet of instructions DOES say 7 days, as does every other birth control, but in all seriousness, you're going to want to wait a full 30 days taking it on time before you have unprotected sex.





Many women have gotten pregnant by using that 7 day rule. Be patient. I'm on Loestrin 24 Fe too and I waited a full month before unprotected.

The pill is 99% effective, so there is not much need to worry. But of course, when combined with a condom, the efficency goes up to nearly perfect. You just need to decide if it is worth it when it will probably not be any additional help

Rats don't shed that much to require anything to aid the process. If you rat is shedding that much, it's mostly likely due to mites or lice. It can also be from too much protein, but Kaytee doesn't have too much protein, it has too much junk and toxins. Usually too much protein will cause excessive scratching, and sometimes small scabs from the scratchng, causing you to think it's mites. Not all rats have problems eating too much protein. I've found that only with my blue rats has this been a problem in the past.





You don't use things meant for dogs on rats. That's asking for trouble. Want to be safe? Get the Harlan lab blocks, toss out the Kaytee - or find something that does not contain Ethoxyquin (google it and spare me typing it all, or search on YA for more info). i dont believe it is the kaytee food because i have a year and a half old rat that i feed kaytee to. i would still reccomend switching because your rat could be having an allergic reaction. if your rat is around two years old or older baldness is a sign of age just like with humans. If this is the case your rat will get less entergetic, he will be content to sit on your shoulder and be petted. hope this helps.
Poor diet will cause shedding but some shedding is natural. Kaytee is really bad food. I would get Blue Buffalo or some other kind of quality dog food while you wait for harlan tekklan, just make sure that the protein is around 18%. Too much protein can give them scabs and stuff.

I'm not exactly sure, but try Ctrl+Alt+Delete. This will give you the task manager. Under proccesses search for control panel in abbriviated form. Either proccesess or applications.

If its that light, you may need to take a test. My best friend just found out that she was pregnant and she was on the pill. She never missed a day and she always started on the first day of 'sugar' pills. She found out that day that she was pregnant and it was due to a prescription that she had taken the month before, it more or less counteracted the birth control. Wait and see if your period gets to its normal strength. If it only last a day or two and is REALLY light, then take a test! Remember though, your period(pill or not) can differ due to a change in eating habits, exercise, stress levels, etc.

It's one of the hardest things in the world to do. I live with anxiety and it sucks. The only thing that can calm me down is very deep breathing, a quiet room and meditating with candles. It helps me to stay in a good state of mind during meditation if every time my thoughts wander, I just gently bring them back with a list of what I'm currently grateful for....sort of gets your mind off whatever you are worrying about. Do things to nuture yourself too. Fill a container with warm water with essential oils (lavender or patchouli is good for anxiety) in it and soak your feet....anything to just love yourself and calm yourself down. Your baby will thank you. When you feel anxious, so does Jr.!

You can also get playdoh or a worry stone, something to carry around that will occupy your hands, and ind of get your attention on something else. Meditation, exercise, relaxing music, aromatherapy (lavender is great), candles, warm baths, massages, reading, deep breathing, accupuncture, diet, prayer, herbal tea (chamomile), warm milk with cinnamon. All these things help me.

i don't know what pill you're on, but they always come with a paper that tells you what to do if you miss one. mine says if i miss one to take it as soon as you realize you missed it. if you miss a total day, i would use a condom for a least a few days to a week to get the drug regular again in your system. i don't know how good your chances are of getting pregnant, but i know people it has happened to. good luck!

Hang the battery cable(s) over the side of the car so that there is no chance of temporary electrical current capability. One cable is usually enough to disconnect. Second, your car should have come with an owners manual that tells you step by step, with pictures, how to repair all or most problems. It will also tell you all the tools you will need. If they cannot find owners in so long , they have a righ to do it. Here in MT, they have to have been adoptable at the Humane Society for over 30 days before the option of euthanizing them is available. But they usually have to take it in for so long first to see if an owner turns up or if they dog is adoptable. If they find the dog to be aggressive or unadoptable they also have a right to protect the public from this animal and euthanize it. I would call down to animal control and get a copy of their requirements on this. Sometimes the city runs the humane societies as well, so they would have to have a city law reguarding this issue as well.
I don't know where you are, but unclaimed pets are euthanized all the time in Texas. They multiply too quickly, and there aren't enough homes for them all.

Yes, it is legal. If the dog is determined to be a dangerous animal at large, they can and will do that. Their main concern is for the safety of the citizenry. If the dog is not deemed to be dangerous, then generally what happens is that Animal Control will pick the dog up and do at least a cursory health evaluation. The dog will be held for X number of days for the owner to claim it. If no one comes forward to claim the dog, the dog is evaluated further to see if it is adoptable. Then, depending on the area you are in, the dog is held for another X number of days to give it a chance to be adopted. After that time if no one adopts it, unfortunately, the dog may be put down. Shelters are forced to this sad deed due to lack of space, lack of funding, and lack of adopters. Some areas are able to have no-kill shelters, but that takes money and space. You can check for the regulations of your area by doing a search for ';department of animal control (your city)';.

you can use grass clippings as a mulch.. but be sure you don't use them if you have used weed-n-feed or any other weed killer.. this can get into the veggies and sicken, if not kill them, too.. most veggies are broadleaf plants and so are most weeds.





bark mulch might be a better option. it helps retain soil moisture, suppresses weed germination and also keeps soil from splashing up on your veggies in a heavy rain.Is it true the best way to control weeds in your vegetable garden is to spread grass clippings in it?
Not sure about the grass clippings. I use Coca Bean Shells. These work perfect for me and the Choc. smell is wonderful!!
Heavy mulch of any type will help to prevent weeds. Grasses and straw sometimes contain seeds, so if you use it, be sure to make it heavy (thick)enough to smother any sprouting seeds. I have used grass in the past and then added purchased mulch on top for a better ';look';.
It may not be the best way, but it does work to keep the weeds under control. It blocks the sun from the weeds that want to grow, hold in moisture in during the dry periods while allowing the water to get to the dirt. It is also great compost material that will be mixed into your soil for the next growing season. My grandfather did this all the time in his garden. Plus, it's free!!! All you have to do is rake it up.

Covering the ground has some effect on weed growth, but grass clippings are not the most efficient method. Grass clippings will both cover the soil, preventing most weed seeds from germinating, and eventually break down to release organic nutrients.





Too thick a layer won't decompose quickly enough and the smell of rotting grass clippings will be quite strong.





Weeds that are already in the soil may or may not be discouraged by the grass clipping layers either...





Composted organic material--soil amendments for example--will work fine and can be layered and eventually worked into the soil to add more nutrients.

Try mixing Preen in with your soil. It keeps the weeds out for a good long while. You can pick it up at your local Wally-Mart or wherever. It comes in a yellow jug.
I don't think I would use grass clippings to control weeds. In the clippings there will be grass seeds, and weed seeds. I would use a mulch of cedar or pine bark. I assume that you first did soil prep., which should have removed most of the weeds and grasses prior to the planting of the vegetables.


the mulch will also help out with water retention keeping the soil from drying out to much and helping with water conservation
We have lived in the same home for 25 years and the lawn hasn't seen any fertilizer or weed killer in that time. I have always used the grass clippings as mulch and never had a problem with weeds. I place 2-3 inches of the clippings around everything. Any stray weeds that do pop through are easy to pull and I just lay them on the top of the ,mulch and they become a part of it. The best part of using clippings is that they are free. You do need to be careful if you are collecting clippings fro somewhere else that the grass hasn't had weed killer applied to it in the last couple of weeks. The grass clippings dry to a nice sage color and they add nitrogen to the soil, a win/win if I ever saw one!

Who told you that? Best way to control weeds in a garden is to pull them up yourself.
No grass clippings....it has possibly way too many weed seeds which defeats your purpose. You are better to use straw or pine needles. Both are fairly inexpensive.


I personally invested in a small cultivator and worked the soil.


The rows of veggies had to be planted far enough apart to allow the machine between the rows. I planted my lettuce in pots because weeding is such a chore.

Any kind of weed free mulch will work. I use about 3-5 inches of straw, and it keeps the garden pretty much weed free all year. In the spring I just ill it into the soil a few weeks before I'm going to plant.





You could also try shredded paper with a bit of straw on top.
