The ring contains hormones on it, and it works as soon as you put it inside. The hormones go through your bloodstream into you uterus. It works in the same way as the pill, and a short period without it shouldn't make it ineffective, however with all things birth control nothing is certain. How long have you been using this method of birth control?
If it lasts for three hours after its out, you still have a problem as sperm lives up to 5 days inside her body...if she misses her period, have her take a test or see the doctor.

On my computer I click on the control panel and it does not pop up, can you help me get my control panel up?
When I click on the control panel, the whole page disappears and then it comes back up again without the control panel popping up. You can Click on Start -%26gt; Run and type ';control'; without the double quotes to get the control panel. If you want to access any particular option within the control panel you ned to type ';control %26lt;filename%26gt;.cpl'; in the run window and that will open the desired window. Refer the following link to get the information about the list of the available cpl files.

First of all, what were you doing just before you clicked on the control panel? Were you running any memory intensive programs? Second, have you scanned your computer for viruses or spyware? I use AVG Antivirus (freeware). You could also purchase Norton Antivirus and run it.
I'm not exactly sure, but try Ctrl+Alt+Delete. This will give you the task manager. Under proccesses search for control panel in abbriviated form. Either proccesess or applications.
if you have windows XP i know a way that i think will work....go to START then click on ACESSORIES then click SYSTEM TOOLS then SYSTEM RESTORE....this will let you restore your computer to an earlier time as early since you first got it or your last system restore

Does my birth control still work if i chew it?
I have a problem where I can't swallow pills, ive been chewing mine but i havn't had any sex so im not sure if it would be still effective if i chew birth control. Does it matter if I chew or swallow it? or does it only matter is that its in my body?Does my birth control still work if i chew it?

Remember though, your period(pill or not) can differ due to a change in eating habits, exercise, stress levels, etc.

I am pregnant so no anti anxiety meds for me! I should have been on them a long time ago. Sometime my anxiety overwhelms me and I can't stop thinking about people who get to me and who slight me and do me wrong especially family. I can't let things go and obsess over them constantly. It's one of the hardest things in the world to do. I live with anxiety and it sucks. The only thing that can calm me down is very deep breathing, a quiet room and meditating with candles. It's essential you take 20 minutes out of your day to go into a quiet room and take time to listen to your body and clear your mind. It helps me to stay in a good state of mind during meditation if every time my thoughts wander, I just gently bring them back with a list of what I'm currently grateful for....sort of gets your mind off whatever you are worrying about. Remember, all decisions or thoughts you have can only be based on two things: faith or fear. I am working on operating more from faith than fear.
Do things to nuture yourself too. Fill a container with warm water with essential oils (lavender or patchouli is good for anxiety) in it and soak your feet....anything to just love yourself and calm yourself down. Your baby will thank you. When you feel anxious, so does Jr.!
I don't suggest you take Valerian Root while you are pregnant. NEVER take an herb without checking with your doctor first. They are just as potent as regular medications.

You can also get playdoh or a worry stone, something to carry around that will occupy your hands, and ind of get your attention on something else. I have never tried either of those ideas, but I've heard they work. I do something physical, but because of your state, you obviously can't do that. =)
Meditation, exercise, relaxing music, aromatherapy (lavender is great), candles, warm baths, massages, reading, deep breathing, accupuncture, diet, prayer, herbal tea (chamomile), warm milk with cinnamon. All these things help me.
Take valarian root. it's completely natural. Actually, Valium is made from high concentrated valarian root. You can get it at any Natural foods store.
